Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Entry-Level General Laborer to join our team. This is a part-time/as-needed position, perfect for individuals looking to gain experience in the construction industry. You will be responsible for assisting skilled tradespeople with a wide range of tasks on construction sites, providing opportunities to learn and develop valuable skills.

Responsibilities
* Perform general site cleanup, including debris removal and sweeping.
* Assist with loading and unloading materials.
* Move and organize materials on the job site.
* Assist skilled tradespeople with a wide range of tasks, including but not limited to:
* Preparing surfaces for painting and applying paint.
* Assisting with drywall installation and repairs.
* Helping with deck construction, repairs, and maintenance.
* Performing general carpentry tasks as directed.
* Maintaining a clean and organized job site.
* Employee may be required to use a wide variety of tools including, but not limited to:
* Drills, sanders, saws.
* Woodworking machines.
* Follow all safety protocols and regulations.
* Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
* Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
* The company reserves the right to add or change duties at any time.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Ability to perform physical labor in various weather conditions.
* Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
* Reliable transportation to job sites in the Portland Metro area.
* Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
* Strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.
* Basic understanding of hand tools.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications (Optional)
* Previous experience in construction or related field.
* OSHA 10-hour certification.
Compensation
* $19 - $21 per hour, depending on experience and project requirements.
Schedule
* Flexible, as-needed schedule. Work may include weekdays and weekends, depending on project requirements.
