Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Laborer with a strong focus on painting to join our team. This is a part-time/as-needed position, ideal for individuals with expertise in painting and general construction tasks. While painting will be a significant part of the role, you will also be responsible for performing other skilled labor tasks as needed and potentially training other colleagues.

Responsibilities
* Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and patching.
* Apply paint, stains, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
* Perform high-quality interior and exterior painting.
* Assist with drywall repairs and preparation.
* Perform general carpentry tasks as directed.
* Train and guide other colleagues in painting techniques and best practices.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area.
* Employee may be required to use a wide variety of tools including, but not limited to:
* Drills, sanders, saws.
* Woodworking machines.
* Follow all safety protocols and regulations.
* Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
* Performs other duties as assigned or requested.

Required Skills and Qualifications
* Proven experience in professional painting.
* Ability to prepare and paint various surfaces.
* Knowledge of painting techniques and materials.
* Ability to perform general construction tasks.
* Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
* Reliable transportation to job sites in the Hillsboro area.
* Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
* Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications (Optional)
* Experience with spray painting equipment.
* Experience with drywall repairs and preparation.
* OSHA 10-hour certification.
Compensation
* $22 - $28 per hour, depending on experience and project requirements.
Schedule
* Flexible, as-needed schedule. Work may include weekdays and weekends, depending on project requirements.
